Character's Name: Travis Touchdown
Series/Fandom: No More Heroes
Original/Alternate: Original

Age: 27
Gender: Male
Species: Human

Appearance: Thanks to his training, Travis' tall frame is musclebound. Not to the point of a professional body builder, he's not exactly a slob. Not that you could tell the difference from the way he dresses normally. For the amount of clothes he has in the real world, Travis cares surprisingly little for how other people view him. His shirts are almost all uniformly wrinkled and messy, his jeans a mess, and his hair unkempt, and on top of that, he almost always appears to be half asleep.

Personality: There are a few things that need to be understood to “get” Travis. One, he's an assassin. Two, he loves his job. And three, he relishes being the best at what he does. He's vicious, brutal, unforgiving, and driven to accomplish his goals, and he's more than a little psychotic. One would have to be, considering what he's been through. What he likes more than the kill, for the most part, is the fight. That rush that one gets when the adrenaline hits the bloodstream. He can't get enough of it, and he lives for the next fight.

At least, that's what he's like during a fight. Every other time, he's fairly apathetic to anything not relating to his favorite moeblob anime or women. He's the average otaku when it comes to his favorite shows: obsessive, compulsive, and adoring of their every quality. As for women, Travis is surprisingly polite, even chivalrous.

Skills and Abilities: Thanks to his strenuous job as an assassin, Travis has two major skill sets that he's honed over the years: His wrestling abilities and his sword play. However, rather than more classical training, Travis picked up his moves from watching video tapes over and over until he learned everything he possibly could, which often lead to worn out tapes (And late fees at Beef Head Video).

Personal Belongings: Despite having collected three other beam sabers at this point, Travis' first, the Blood Berry, holds a special place in his heart as the first weapon he received and his first step down the trail of revenge. Strangely though, in the transfer over to Jardin, it was broken up into three different pieces: Handle and blade, battery, and beam emitter crystal.

Duelist Weapon: While fighting, Travis' weapon of choice is a katana with a hilt long enough to be used either with either two hands or just one. The blade itself is interesting in that it's got less of a curve than a regular katana, and the cutting edge of the blade is faintly tinged blue.

School Uniform: Travis' uniform is a weird mish-mash of what the school requires and what he really wants to wear. Sure, he's got the required stuff, but it has some alterations. The pants are torn in a very artful way. His jacket is always open and is itself beaten and worn. Underneath, he almost always wears a different t-shirt with anything from the next awesome design from GHM to his favorite characters from his favorite anime (Pure White Giant Glastonbury ). In addition to all that, he also features a pair of awesome yellow tinted aviator glasses, because you've gotta be styling all the time.

History: So there's this kid, right? His name is Travis. He had parents, a family, y'know, average life. It was pretty bitching. He even met this hot number named Jeane and fell in love. Everything was cool, right? Well, it was for him. It's not like he'd know that his dad was not only married to another woman, but was also sexually abusing Jeane, and at sometime managed to get to Europe and make another bastard child that would come back to haunt him later. Right, so his dad was kind of a prick, but whatever. It's not like that would come back to haunt.

Well, except for when it did. Eventually, Jeane got fed up with what was being done and ended up slaughtering Travis' family in front of him. It was pretty brutal, blood everywhere, the works. The worst part of it, though, was that Jeane let Travis live. Whether it was for the sake of him taking revenge later or because she really cared for him or whatever, who the fuck cares. It happened. Moving on.

Travis took this parentless time to do stuff. Y'know, like becoming a pro wrestler on the lucha libre circuit. And mastering the art of the beam katana via a correspondence video cassette course, and the surprisingly frisky Thunder Ryu. The average.

Eventually, Travis found himself in a bar on the outskirts of Santa Destroy, where he blabbed his life story to a smoking hot foreign chick named Sylvia. She offered to help by setting him up with a series of ranked fights, giving Travis a mission to become number. And of course, he slaughtered his way up to number one, cutting through the ranks incredibly quickly. Along the way, he made friends, enemies, met his half brother Sir Henry Motherfucker, and ultimately found out the whole thing was a scam and all the killing and odd jobs he did ultimately only gave Sylvia insane amounts of money for doing nothing. Life's a bitch.

But at least he met and killed Jeane at the end of it, and that's all that really matters. Well, that and the whole climatic duel with Sir Henry Motherfucker and some fourth wall breakage, but for the sake of the game, we won't go too in depth into that. ...Oops.
